Award Descriptions

MVP – Most Valuable Player, this honor goes to only the best Red Hawk on the mat each season. Usually a wrestler who contributes the most bonus points at duals, as well as contributing the most in team points at tournaments.

Hawk Of The Year – This honor goes to the Red Hawk who not only displayed excellence on the mat, team members looked up to them as a role model and mentor because this individual has a strong work ethic and is dependable and trustworthy.

Most Falls – This honor goes to the Red Hawk who earned the most falls (pin and tech falls) each season.

Rookie Of The Year -This honor goes to only the best first year Red Hawk on the mat each season.

Most Improved – This honor goes to the Red Hawk who has shown the most improvement on the mat during the season or between seasons.
